WEO Presentation at the 6th GBVTF meeting held by RRT/Erbil
On Sunday Sep 27 GBVTF meeting was held at 10:00-12:00 at Sabean-Mandain Culture Society. The meeting was headed by Catherine Gulyan/ Provincial Action Officer of RRT/ Erbil. It was about the role of NGos and Government in reducing GBV and discussing the projects they involved in.
At the beginning Ms. Catherin made her speech and welcomed the attendees, then Mr. Salman Sadda, Sabean-Mandain Culture society Director had his speech, then Suzan Aref WEO director made her presentation about WEO activities and projects that serves women issues, specially small business development center (SBDC) which has been an academic center for men and women to learn about managing and developing small and medium size business.
The attendees were from US Army, international NGOs; RRT, DAI, UNAMI, Global Aid network, and representatives of internal relations of the Ministry of Education, local NGOs; New life Women Center, and Helping women Org.
