Exhibition and Award Ceremony of Ministry of Civil society Affairs

WEO , participate in the first Annual Exhibition and Award Ceremony for NGO activities working in Kurdistan region in Iraq, this event adopted by the Ministry of civil society affairs and held on 16 \ 06 \ 2006 in the Conference hall in Erbil city.
The Exhibition and award ceremony was attended by Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani and the representative of President Talabany and officials from the federal government in Baghdad, members of the Kurdistan Regional Assembly and KRG, Erbil-based members of the international diplomatic corps, and representatives from many civil society organizations working in the Kurdistan Region in Iraq.

WEO, awarded honor certificate from the Minister for the Region for Civil Society Affairs, for the role of WEO in the Evaluating committee, to select seven most outstanding civil society organization in Kurdistan region to be awarded.
